Here's how the walking challenge works:

  1. During the Summer, June 1 - August 31, we will all walk 100 miles over 92 days of summer (running miles will count too).

  2. Each week you’ll check with our private Facebook group and log your miles for that week in our shared Walking Tracker.

  3. Everyone who reaches 100 miles or more by Aug. 31 will be entered to win the grand cash prize!

  4. Participate in our monthly walking bingo mini-challenges for added accountability, results, and monthly prizes.

  5. Add in our new Muscle Moves and Mustle Hustles for total body muscle building to turn your body into a fat burning machine.

  6. This is a self-paced challenge with a group support component! You determine what days and times you want to walk and how far you want to go that day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this challenge live? Do we have to walk at certain times each day?

While this is a "live group challenge", it will be completely virtual. We are all participating as a group together this summer, but you can walk any time of day, any day of the week that you want. There are no set times. While I will be providing a calendar listing a daily plan with various types of walking, you can of course do whatever you want each day, and walk during the times that suit you.

How do I win the Grand Prize?

In our private Facebook group, we will have ONE master shared Mileage Tracker. You must log your total miles each week into the tracker, AND reach 100 miles by the end of the summer to be eligible to enter the prize drawing. At the end of the challenge, date TBD, all participants who have achieved the 100 miles AND logged their weekly progress consistently all summer long will be entered once into the drawing. Anyone who requests and receives a refund during the 10 day refund period will not be eligible for the drawing.

 Do I have to follow the daily walking plan you give us? Will running miles count?

Nope! Absolutely not. The daily walking plan that comes with the challenge is a great start and will give you a solid program to follow for core and pelvic walking strength. But you don't have to follow it! Follow whatever walking schedule that best serves you during the summer. The only rule of the challenge is to walk 100 miles. Doesn't matter how you get there. And yes - Running miles count too!

How do I keep track of mileage?

You can keep track of your daily mileage any way you'd like to! A smart watch, pen and paper, an app on your phone. And then, once per week, you'll log your total miles for that week into our shared Walking Tracker in our private Facebook Group. We will take care of the rest!

CONTEST RULES

Every participant who walks or runs at least 100 miles between June 1 and August 31, 2025 AND logs their miles in our official mileage tracker will be eligible to be entered into the drawing for the cash prize. There will be one winner. The winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the challenge, 2024 (exact date TBA). IF YOU DO NOT LOG YOUR MILES IN THE OFFICIAL SPREADSHEET YOU WILL NOT BE ENTERED TO WIN. If a refund has been issued for any reason during the Walking Challenge, then you are NOT eligible to win the prizes.


Any participant who joins AFTER June 1, 2025 can still participate and be eligible for prizes. If you join after June 1, you acknowledge and understand that the same rules apply to you as if you had joined before June 1, and you'll have less days to complete the same amount of mileage and monthly tasks in order to be entered into the random drawing to win any prize. There will be not exceptions to the rules to win prizes, and no additional prorates or discounts, regardless of when you join the challenge.
